New Klaviyo integration for email capture features in Fit Quiz

In the world of online shopping, staying ahead of customer needs is paramount. One key area of focus is managing out-of-stock products and getting early purchase intents on a product-level. To enhance these aspects, we have integrated our Fit Quiz with Klaviyo, a widely popular emailing tool, to capture and manage out-of-stock and other product notifications more effectively.

How does it work?

Many apps already allow shoppers to leave their emails for "back in stock" notifications or to express interest in a specific product. Now, we're incorporating this functionality directly into the Fit Quiz widget. This means a shopper can leave their email directly in the widget if the recommended size is out of stock or a product is enabled for the email capture feature.

What's more – all captured emails are saved and added directly into a relevant automated workflow in Klaviyo, allowing shops to have relevant details in one place and leverage automation tools.

Front-end

On the front-end, within the Fit Quiz widget, the email capture feature is triggered when a recommended size is out of stock or if a product is enabled for this feature. Shoppers are prompted to add their email address and be notified when the size is back in stock.

Back-end

On the back-end, with the integration with Klaviyo, once the shopper adds their email address, this information is instantly saved in the "Back in stock" or other workflow in Klaviyo. This allows shops to have one place for all their out of stock email captures, whether they're coming from Fit Quiz or some other place.

What's the shopper experience like?

The "Out of stock" feature (referred to as "OOS") only shows up in the Fit Quiz widget and only when the recommended size is out of stock. Shoppers are presented with a prompt to leave their email address and once the email is added, a success message is shown.

Like any other elements of the Fit Quiz widget, the email capture feature can be customized. Shops can choose their fonts and colours, use their custom text, and support it in 16 languages or add additional languages.

Integration with Klaviyo

The integration with Klaviyo is a strategic one. Klaviyo is one of the most popular tools for emails and communication flows and many shops are already using Klaviyo's "back in stock" and product notification automated workflows. Instead of introducing a new, separate tool for out of stock notifications, shops can simply "hook up" existing tools to Fit Quiz.

This feature requires you to have a working "Back in stock" or other automation flow in Klaviyo. For setup and details please refer to the official Klaviyo documentation.

To get started, generate a Klaviyo API access key and check your existing "Back in stock" or other automation workflows.

The data sent from Fit Quiz will have the following details:

  • product name
  • product/SKU number
  • additional attributes, like color, model etc. (if relevant)
  • recommended size
  • customer email.

Enabling the "Out of stock" feature
